Greetings from over the Atlantic
Greetings and salutations from somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean at approximately 35,000 feet above the Earth's surface.
And, best of all, I have a broadband connection.
I'm on my way home from Germany after a good press trip. Weather could have been nicer, but it was good to be able to wander around the city—even though it was raining and chilly. Good beer always helps to warm me up though.
Thankfully, Toni's jinx of the trip didn't turn out to be much—that is if you don't count the fact that she was stuck in middle seats on both legs of the trip. :: hugs ::
I'm very happy to be heading home and looking forward to spending a night in my own bed, granted it's only for a week until I'm on the move once again. At least this time it's domestic.
Oh. And I managed to survive the presentation in St. Louis. They apparently liked me. :: blushes furiously :: Kinda weird no matter how you look at it though.
So, I think I finally figured out where the rest of my SGA fic is going (woohoo) and thanks to Toni for helping me "walk" though it this morning and last night. I'm in the mood to do some writing, but checking email is first on my list today. That, and this blog post, of course. Having no internet access for several days definitely can be annoying. I'm surprised I've survived the whole situation.
And the whole jetlag thing…sucks. I'm not really sure if I'm coming or going and I'm waking up more tired than when I go to bed. Ugh.
OH. And free Baileys on flights is always fun.
Anyway. I'll be back home tonight sometime, catching up and chatting. You know where to find me…
